This Stockton Record editorial says it well: The idea of taking $65 million out of the state’s general fund for a new, 1,152-bed death row at San Quentin is ludicrous. When we’re firing teachers, police and firefighters and our streets are [...]

Sure, it's possible- Human perception is flawed. The jury could have been swayed by the charisma of the persecuting lawyer, the defense may have presented a shoddy case. A bandwagon mentality might have developed in the decision, either because they were tired or someone was too chickens–t to disagree. The evidence could have been tampered with or evidence and witnesses that existed but were never known to the court could have proven him innocent. None of us are omniscient and most decisions are made from looking at fragments of the whole truth. Personal truths are different- they can be based solely on fact or none at all.

Dont no what country you live in but here in the UK they have gyms in prison with cons access to them 3 or 4 times a week, and as for the fatty foods there was always healthy choice and lots of fruit you could choose to eat instead of the sausages and burgers ect..
Plus being locked in your cell most of the day is really boring when theres nothing on tv so you waste tym doing sit ups, press ups, and chin ups using the bunk bed and also shadow boxing gets you in shape too
and the prison i was in had a swimming pool lol
Not all prisons are like alcatraz used to be
